Abundant Living Counselling Group (us, we, our) owns abundantlivingcounselling.com (the site).
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of any personal information we receive from visitors to our website.
This policy only applies to our website itself, and is separate from our clinical confidentiality policies. Information pertaining to our clinical work, legal obligations and treatment of case files is discussed in detail with clients, in person, as part of the intake process.
In brief, we only use the information our site collects for its provision and improvement, and to respond to direct inquiries visitors submit through our contact forms. By using the site, you agree to the collection and use of data in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection And Use
The forms on our site ask you to provide information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, email, and/or phone number ("Personal Information"). This type of information will be clearly marked.
Log Data
Like most websites, our site collects data that your browser provides whenever you visit ("Log Data").
This Log Data may include your IP address and city, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
We do not use this data to personally identify or contact you. We only use this data in aggregate to improve our website, and to improve our local search engine optimization efforts. We will never sell or trade any of your data for any purpose.
Third Parties
We use a third party instant messaging application (Drift) on our site to enable us to chat in real time with our visitors, on their initiation. The third party services we use to monitor our site traffic/statistics are Google Analytics and Facebook's SDK. All third parties in use have their own privacy policies. On our end, we use them to (a) improve how our site is presented locally and on Google and Facebook, and (b) allow us to use modules like Facebook's recommend/share buttons and Drift's instant messaging app.
Recommend & Share Buttons
One of the default settings for Facebook's Recommend button is to list the names/profiles of friends who have also liked or recommended the site in question. We have disabled this option in the interest of respecting our visitors' privacy, opting to only show the number of people who have recommended us.
If you click the Recommend button on our site, your information will NOT be displayed to others who visit our site, even if you are friends on Facebook.
If you do want your Facebook friends to know you're recommending us, you have the option of using the Share button, which lets you create a post about us on Facebook directly. Only the audience you have set up for your personal profile on Facebook itself will see your shares - they will not appear anywhere on our site.
Communications
We do not use information collected via our site to contact you with newsletters, marketing or any other promotional materials.
The only situation in which we will use this information to contact you is in response to inquiries sent to us by you.

Like most sites, we use cookies to track basic data. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. You can also view the contents of any cookies sent and stored by a website via your web browser. As you will see, the cookies we set are only to help us determine accurate statistical data, which we only use to improve our website.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is very important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. However, while no-one can guarantee absolute security, we strive to use the best available means to protect your data.
