Individual, Couples and Family Counsellor
book now About Lorraine
Lorraine is an experienced Registered Psychotherapist who has counselled hundreds of people across the Ottawa area. She works with individuals, couples, and families who may be struggling with relationship distress, the effects of childhood trauma, workplace or career transitions, or the aftermath of betrayal and broken trust.
Lorraine offers a caring, respectful, and confidential space where clients can slow things down, better understand what they are facing, and begin identifying practical ways forward.
Her approach is grounded in active listening, dignity, and genuine care. Lorraine works collaboratively with clients to uncover strengths that may have been hidden by stress, pain, or long-standing patterns, and to build on those strengths in ways that support healing and lasting change.
Over many years of counselling experience, I’ve come to appreciate how often people already carry important strengths within them, even when life circumstances make those strengths difficult to see. My role is to listen carefully, understand what has brought you here, and help you move toward solutions that feel meaningful, realistic, and true to your situation.
Lorraine provides confidential, in-person therapy in Nepean for clients across the Ottawa area, and virtual therapy via Skype to clients throughout Ontario. If you’re considering counselling, you’re welcome to reach out to discuss whether working together would be a good fit.
